Rick and Morty Season 5 Finale Extended Promo Spins the Wheel of ‘Better Things Than Morty’

If you have been waiting ( what seems like forever) for the season 5 finale of Rick and Morty…the wait is almost over. A new trailer is here and we have all the details. The fifth season of the Adult Swim animated series has been on a break or hiatus for the rest of the month, but have no fear because it will be making its triumphant return this September for the final two episodes of the season. Not only that but it will be in the form of a special one-hour long finale.

This break has been just another annoying thing to deal with in the world of television and film and many fans have voiced their opinions across social media. When you watch a show every week and then have to take yet another break it can be very frustrating but we won’t have to wait much longer. Rick and Morty will be returning to Adult Swim on Sunday, September 5th starting at 11:00PM EST with the final two episodes of Rick and Morty Season 5, Forgetting Sarick Mortshall and Rickmurai Jack.”

What do we know going into the season finale? Well we have an idea that the finale would see Rick and Morty separate even more when Morty messes with Rick’s portal gun. Never a great idea. The brand new trailer for the finale shows us an in depth look at how it gets to this breaking point between the two of them. Don’t take our word for it though, watch for yourself.

The fifth season of this series has been focusing on the idea that Morty has been distancing himself further from Rick. His actions and choices such as dating Jessica and Planetina, choosing to go to Boob World instead of helping Rick live out his dreams are all easing to something big or earth shaking.

On Ricks side you have him looking a little more ( we said little ) vulnerable. We have had major hints as to what’s to come by looking into his past and relationships with others. and this was especially prominent with the eighth episode of the season. We don’t if these things will come to play in the season finale but with other season being planned as we speak, things are for sure going to be shaken up.

Will the two come back together or will we see them grow even further apart? Will other smaller characters start to have a major role in the show or will we see some new faces emerge? Only time will tell but not too much time so again don’t worry. Without a doubt it seems like it has been forever since we last left these two and the world is ready. So make sure you mark your calendar and follow us for any updates on the show and future shows. What are you looking forward to the most when it returns next month? Or at this point should we just sit back and watch.
