Halsey Wears a Kamilla Purshie Dress to the Sing 2 Premiere

Sing 2 star Halsey joined their costars Reese Witherspoon, Tori Kelly, Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, and Nick Kroll on the red carpet, with each actor from the animated film staying true to their signature style. Halsey’s outfit in particular struck us as unique, and we were not surprised to find out why. It’s a white bustier minidress lined with thick black piping and complete with a glittering train of textured drapery that decorates the bodice from top to bottom — a piece from Kamilla Purshie’s youthful and sensual spring/summer 2022 collection. The couture designer and her team created each of the 30 gowns by hand and the attention to detail shows.

While Halsey could have finished the number with feminine heels, it’s just like her to choose towering Marc Jacobs wedge platform boots instead, adorned with 13 buckles that climb to mid-shin. They also accessorized with diamond-encrusted spiked earrings and rings delicate in form but sharp in appearance. It’s safe to say Halsey’s own twist on gothic romance stood out by a mile at the Los Angeles premiere.
