“‘Today’s #WCW is a powerful woman who I admire, Marcela Howell. Marcela has over 40 years of experience in advocating for women’s rights, reproductive health and justice, and women’s empowerment. She is also the founder of In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda. Which is the only national Black women’s reproductive justice organization.’

Gabrielle continued and said the following:

‘She and the rest of the organization strive to lift up the voices of Black women leaders at the national, regional, and state levels on policies that impact all of our lives. With the recent news of the government possibly overturning Roe V. Wade the fight towards justice continues on and its no surprise that Marcela and @blackwomensrj are at the forefront of it all. Thank you to Marcela for making our voices be heard. Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there.’
