Harley Quinn Season 3 Trailer Reveals July Release Date on HBO Max

The wait is almost over for season 3 of Harley Quinn. HBO Max has just released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season, and with it comes the premiere date for the new episodes. The series will return in one month from now, set to start streaming on July 28, 2022. To get a sneak peek, you can watch the new trailer below.

Season 3 picks up right from where season 2 left off, with Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy officially coming together as “Harlivy.” The teaser also promises to be “filthier” than seasons past, and that just might be the truth, with the teaser seemingly depicting the infamous Batman/Catwoman scene that had previously been “banned.” Also included is a special appearance from filmmaker James Gunn as a tease of the surprises that are in store for the third season.

You can read the official logline for season 3 of Harley Quinn below.

“The mayhem and madness continue in season three of this biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series. Wrapping up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour,” Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) – “Harlivy” strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.”

“I think people really fell in love with it and the fact of them getting together near the end of the season is a beautiful thing and just watching them grow together as a relationship, I think, is what you’re going to see a lot in the next season,” Ron Funches has also said of Harlivy’s popularity, teasing that more will be coming in season 3, per PopCulture.com.
