The Munsters reboot serves as an origin story for how Lily and Herman first met and fell in love. That would explain the absence of Eddie and Marilyn, though if all goes well with the movie’s release, perhaps the children could show up in a sequel. With this movie, Sheri Moon Zombie plays Lily opposite Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman with Dan Roebuck also starring as The Count, aka Grandpa Munster. Other cast members include Richard Brake, Sylvester McCoy, Jorge Garcia, Catherine Schell, Dee Wallace, and Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson. Original Munsters stars Pat Priest and Butch Patrick also appear in special roles.

The Munsters will be coming to Netflix this fall wiht an exact date yet to be revealed. Additionally, it will also be released on digital, Blu-ray, and DVD on Sept. 27, 2022. You can check out the official trailer below.
