With only two days until Emily in Paris Season 3 hits Netflix, star and producer Lily Collins is très excited to tease what fans of the rom-com can expect from the upcoming season.
“Grilled for answers” about the difficult decisions Emily faces in both her personal and professional life this season, Collins tells Entertainment Weekly that the 10-episode season will begin with the fashionista making an important decision.
“Well, I can say that Emily makes a decision, and for the first part of the season, we get to see her really exploring one specific path. But then in the sixth episode, you start to see it kind of veer. And in the finale, it all kind of blows up,” she shared, adding that the third season will end with the ultimate cliffhanger.

“So the finale is really the ultimate cliffhanger yet again, because there’s about five different things that happened in the span of however many minutes that all of a sudden makes you wish there was a season 4 right away. So the second that she makes decisions, things start happening again. But it definitely will leave you guessing.”
Though fans will be clamoring for a fourth season immediately after finishing the final episode, fret not: Emily in Paris has already been renewed for a fourth season.

In addition to following Emily’s journey through life-changing decisions and existential crises, Collins says that the show’s other stars will also get their moment in the spotlight this season.
Bursting with pride about co-stars like Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, and Ashley Park, the actress shared that it was “a pleasure” as a producer to show a more robust view of the other characters’ lives.
“Well, personally, as a producer of the show, I was so excited to be able to showcase the other actors more this season, and have their storylines really thrive in the workplace and in their personal lives on the show. I’m so so proud of each and every one of our cast. And it was a pleasure to get to see all the work that they did in things that don’t involve Emily’s storyline. I think it’s really important for the fabric of the show.
So I’m just really excited for people to see all of that.”
Emily in Paris Season 3 is available on Netflix beginning December 21.
