Zendaya’s Pink Valentino Gown at the 2023 SAG Awards

Zendaya certainly stuck to a color palette for her appearance at the 2023 SAG Awards on Sunday, Feb. 26. The LA-based ceremony kicked off with a thrilling red carpet, where she debuted a custom silk duchess pink bustier dress from Valentino. The design was custom made for her by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and styled by Law Roach. The mermaid silhouette was covered with 190 silk faille rosettes — right on-trend with the season, as we’re seeing the decal being appliquéd on everything from ready-to-wear skirts to evening gowns.

Zendaya showed off her talent for striking a pose upon arrival, placing her hands on her hips to draw attention to her Bulgari bracelet and rings. She also wore diamond studs and a yellow-gold necklace, replete with tanzanite, morganite, and aquamarine stones.

Later on in the evening, she changed into an Armani Privé strapless slip in the same color palette, though it was lined with a black sequined trim. It boasted ’60s art deco references such as a triangle cutout under the bust. Zendaya selected different Bulgari jewels for her outfit change, including a thick choker with mother-of-pearl elements and pavé set diamonds, plus a Serpenti ring.

The 26-year-old actor’s hair and makeup stayed the same throughout the night, with standout details like her retro, Twiggy-like wispy eyelashes. She rocked a glamorous chopped bob with a side part and loose waves, courtesy of Tai Simon. Her square black manicure was another subtle nod to the party dress.

The night before, Zendaya experimented with a sultrier look in a plunging Versace Couture gown with lime green accents and a striking leg slit for the NAACP Image Awards. These two appearances come after a brief stint away from the spotlight — so turn your full attention to her every angle when you scroll.
