Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is returning to practice Wednesday for the team’s joint session with the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Josh McDaniels announced.
McDaniels said Adams is “ready to roll” and added that the All-Pro pass-catcher is 100% healthy, according to Logan Reever of 8 News Now.
Adams has been sidelined since leaving practice early on Aug. 11 with an undisclosed injury. The 30-year-old battled a lower leg ailment, sources told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Adams has led the NFL in touchdown catches in two of the last three seasons. He racked up 100 receptions, 1,516 yards, and 14 touchdowns in his first year with the Raiders in 2022 after joining the team in a trade from the Green Bay Packers.
Las Vegas also received good news on the defensive side of the ball Wednesday, activating first-round defensive end Tyree Wilson off the non-football injury list. Wilson, whom the Raiders drafted seventh overall in April, suffered a season-ending foot injury in his final college season at Texas Tech.
