Check out the trailer for ‘Restless,’ starring Lyndsey Marshal as a woman who takes matters into her own hands after her new neighbors exhibit increasingly aggressive behavior. Quiver Distribution will release the film digitally on May 23, 2025.
Quiver Distribution announced today that it has acquired North American rights to the psychological thriller Restless, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival 2024 and its European premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival 2025. The film is written and directed by Jed Hart in his feature directorial debut. Quiver will release the film digitally on May 23, 2025.
The film stars Lyndsey Marshal (Trespass Against Us, The Hours, Rome), Aston McAuley (Rebus, Rocketman, Trigonometry), Barry Ward (Bad Sisters, Extra Ordinary), Kate Robbins (Unforgotten), Denzel Baidoo (Suspicion), and Ciara Ford (Fool Me Once). Restless is the story of an empty nester whose quiet life is turned upside down when hard-partying—and potentially dangerous—new neighbors move in next door.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Jed Hart and the entire team to bring Restless to audiences in North America,” said Quiver Distribution Co-Presidents Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman. “This cat-and-mouse psychological thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat for 89 minutes and make you think about noisy neighbors in a whole new way.”
Jed Hart said, “We’re so excited to be bringing our movie to North American audiences after the positive reaction we received at our World Premiere in Tribeca. Everybody has dealt with a nightmare neighbour at some stage in their life, so we expect the universal themes to resonate with our cousins across the pond just as well as they have in the UK.”
Restless was nominated for the Raindance Maverick Award at the 2024 British Independent Film Awards, along with being nominated for the Audience Award at the Glasgow Film Festival. Recently, Restless received a 5-star review from HeyUGuys and has a UK-Ireland-wide theatrical release planned for April 4.
Restless is produced by Benedict Turnbull, Iain Simpson, Jens Nielsen, Sophie Ede and Harri Kamalanathan for the UK’s Haus Pictures, in association with Paul Kennedy of Belfast-based Village Films. Judah Klatzker negotiated the deal on behalf of Quiver Distribution; Amy Beecroft of Verve Ventures negotiated on behalf of the production.
