Jessie J has announced a one-off intimate, acoustic live concert in London.
The show, dubbed An Acoustic Evening with Jessie J Live, is set to take place at Union Chapel next month, on May 20. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (April 4) at 10am local time – you can get yours here.
The show will reportedly see Jessie J perform new and unreleased music for fans, as well as several of her biggest hits from throughout her career.
Jessie J is currently working on her first studio album in seven years, having last released the records ‘R.O.S.E’ and ‘This Christmas Day’ in 2018. She has yet to officially announce her next album.
In February, a source told The Sun that Jessie had been working with OneRepublic frontman and acclaimed songwriter Ryan Tedder on a collection of new music, assumed to be for her next album. They had previously worked together, most notably on the song ‘I Want Love’. The source also shared that Jessie J is hoping to announce her first single from her next album “in the spring”.
In July last year, the ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker revealed that she had been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Prior to that, the singer had experienced several health issues and tragedies, including a miscarriage in late 2021, and going deaf in one ear and being temporarily unable to walk properly in 2020.

Speaking at the Advertising Week Europe event in London on Wednesday (April 3), per the Daily Mail, Jessie J spoke about her health struggles and how they’ve “balanced” her: “My health has always kept me balanced. When I was nine, I landed a role in a West End musical, but then I was diagnosed with heart disease and was in and out of the hospital while doing the show. At 17, just after signing my first deal and finishing the BRIT School, I had a stroke.”
She continued: “Then, when I was supposed to release my last album, I went deaf. And then I had a miscarriage. All these things have felt like they were keeping my feet on the ground.”
Jessie J and her partner, basketball player Chanan Colman welcomed a son, Sky, in May 2023.
