HBO’s Harry Potter reboot is currently filming, and fans will be excited to learn that the latest adaptation will feature at least one key difference from the film franchise. The upcoming series will seemingly have a vibrant color palette, a key visual component that was missing from the movie franchise.
During an interview with Forbes, cinematographer Adriano Goldman (Andor, The Crown) teased his work on HBO’s television adaptation of Harry Potter. The director of photography revealed that, after spending 18 weeks in pre-production, the creative team settled on the visual style for the first season of the fantasy reboot. The grueling process will end up defining the series for the next decade, which Goldman teased will feature his affinity for colors. “I have a special relationship with color. This series needs to be more vibrant from the global point of view of the image,” Goldman revealed.
More to come.
