Woody Allen Calls Daughter Dylan Farrow’s Sexual Abuse Accusations Against Him ‘Preposterous’ In New Interview!

Woody Allen denied the claims that he’d sexually abused his own daughter, Dylan Farrow , in his very first TV interview in nearly three decades! Check out what the controversial director had to say about the resurfaced accusations!

Allen called the allegations that he molested his now estranged daughter, ‘preposterous!’

However, the man said that he is convinced she does think the abuse took place.

While on CBS Sunday Morning, giving an interview that was apparently shot back in July, Woody shared that ‘It is so preposterous and yet the smear has remained. And they prefer to cling to, if not the notion I molested Dylan, the possibility I molested her. Nothing I ever did with Dylan in my life could be misconstrued as that.’

The in-depth sit-down was released on ViacomCBS’ Paramount+ streaming platform today, two weeks after the HBO miniseries Allen v. Farrow wrapped up.

The famous director went on to state that ‘I believe she thinks it [happened]. She was a good kid, and I believe that she thinks it. You know, I don’t believe that she is making it up. I do not believe she is lying. I believe she believes that.’

This is not the first time Allen says something similar.

Back in 2014, he wrote a New York Times counter op-ed in which he said that: ‘Not that I doubt Dylan has not come to believe she has been molested, but if from the age of 7 a vulnerable child’s taught by a strong mother to hate her dad because he’s a monster who abused her, is it so inconceivable after many years of this indoctrination the image of me Mia wanted to establish had taken root?’

The allegations first surfaced during the exes’ custody battle.

Connecticut state police launched an investigation into it at the time but the director was never charged or arrested. Instead, he was denied visitation rights with Dylan.
