12 Hours with Caelynn Bell: Yellowstone, Van Life & Plans for 2025

After rising to fame on ABC’s The Bachelor, Caelynn Bell (Miller-Keyes) has transformed her reality TV platform into a thriving social media empire. From sharing the ins and outs of her travels across the US with husband Dean Bell to curating lifestyle content that inspires her millions of followers, Caelynn’s post- reality TV journey has been one of growth and reinvention. No longer just a former contestant, she has grown into a successful entrepreneur, influencer, and advocate, sharing how life after the spotlight can be even more rewarding. Recently between the hustle and bustle, Caelynn stopped to chat with Daily Front Row to give us the latest on her recent stay in Yellowstone, van life, and upcoming plans for 2025.

When telling us a little bit about her life as a creator, podcast host, wife, and reality TV star and how life has changed since being on The Bachelor, Caelynn shares “My life has changed drastically! I met my wonderful husband on the show, we’ve traveled a lot, moved around a little bit, and now are settled in Colorado. I love photography and that has helped a lot with being a creator. The more creative I get to be, the more excited I get about a project. I think forging your own path away from reality TV really has to do with being authentic and finding things that bring you joy. I love taking photos, fashion, travel, being outdoors, and I’ve brought all of that into my social media.”

With the majority of her content focusing on travel, being outdoors, and even living out of a van, Caelynn still manages to be so fashionable and chic. This would definitely be a challenge to some but to Caelynn, she loves it, “It can definitely be challenging at times, but I enjoy it! I just have to think outside of the box more when it comes to styling. I only travel with a carryon so I deal with a lot of mixing and matching the same few pieces. I love hiking, camping, van life, etc. but I still love clothes and fashion and try to always fit that in, in some way!”

Dean and Caelynn’s van life adventures have garnered them a massive following- from those who love the outdoors to those who follow for tips & tricks from their numerous trips. Van life was never something Caelynn thought would be for her but she kept an open mind and ended up loving it, which is very evident in all of their stunning travel content they share with their community. When diving into how she got into van life with Dean and why, after years of travel, they ultimately decided to plant some roots in Colorado, Caelyn shares, “Dean had a van when we started dating so I was sort of just thrust into it. Our van adventures are some of my favorite memories. We’ve been able to travel so much more within the US thanks to the van. We settled on Colorado after our wedding. We got married outside of Aspen, and at the time we were living in Vegas. I had so much fun on our mini moon in Aspen and I was getting really sad about heading back to Vegas. Every time I’m in the Roaring Fork Valley I just feel at home and I knew we needed to start searching for a house. Dean grew up right by where we live now which is an added bonus. It’s my favorite place ever and we felt like it was a great place to raise kids one day. “

When Caelynn took the time to chat with us she was actually on one of her bucket list trips. She shared, “I’m currently in Yellowstone with Yellowstone Bourbon. We have a lot of fun adventures planned while we’re here like a hot air balloon ride, horseback riding, exploring the park, and white water rafting. This is my first time in Yellowstone so I’m really excited!”

Walk us through a day in your life in Yellowstone! What are you wearing, where are you going, what’s your GRWM routine?

6 AM: Wake up and warm up. We’re glamping and it’s around 38 degrees when we wake up. I do my skincare and makeup routine. Because I pack in a carryon I’m limited on the liquids I can bring, but I brought a few of my favorite skincare products with me from osea, skinbetter, and barefaced. I figured we would be hiking a little bit so I’m wearing a new set from Fabletics, Alo shoes, and a polo Ralph Lauren hat.

7 AM: Breakfast at the Under Canvas restaurant. We had a delicious, healthy breakfast to get our day started with yogurt bowls, chia seed pudding, eggs, and fruit.

8 AM: We’re off to Yellowstone National Park. It takes me a little bit to wake up in the morning so I listened to an audiobook on the drive into the park

9 AM: Grand Prismatic Spring was our first stop. It was cool up close, but we went on a quick hike and were able to see the spring from above and it was so beautiful. The colors were incredible!

12 PM: Old Faithful was up next. Our trip coordinators timed it perfectly so we were able to see it erupt. We ate lunch on the bus (I had a salad with grilled chicken) before heading on our next adventure

2 PM: I really love horses and I was so excited to go horseback riding while in Montana. I wore a Joah Brown tank, Polo Ralph Lauren denim button up, Ralph Lauren belt, Abercrombie jeans, and Tecovas booties. My horse, Cowboy, and I had a great time on the trail ride. I felt right at home riding through the Aspen grove.

4 PM: We headed back to Under Canvas to get ready for the evening.

6 PM: For dinner I wore a western inspired Bottega Veneta shirt and skirt from FWRD. I saw this set and was immediately drawn to it. I’ve seen more and more brands lean into the western style and I’m loving it. It’s so fun to play around with.

7 PM: We did a Yellowstone Bourbon tasting before dinner. Each night we had a different cocktail centered around the bourbon, tonight was a huckleberry bourbon smash.

8 PM: For dinner we had a barbecue with cornbread, salad, chicken, mac and cheese, and a warm chocolate chip cookie for dessert. I felt like I was back in Virginia.

10 PM: We ended the night by a campfire. This was my favorite part of the day. We stayed up way too late each night eating smores and playing games.

When chatting all things Caelynn’s style and its evolution, she shared how for a long time she really struggled to figure out her personal style. Especially with social media and ever-changing fashion trends, this can be so difficult which is why so many fashion guru’s harp on building that “capsule wardrobe” of pieces that stand the test of time. Caelynn shared, “ I still struggle a bit because I love so many different things. I love jeans and a white tee, I also love a Self-Portrait tweed dress, or a western-inspired outfit. I think over time I realized it’s ok to not fit into one box. I really enjoy dressing for my location as well. The outfit I’d wear in Aspen would differ from New York City or Tuscany. I’ve become more comfortable finding a way to make trends work for me as well. I don’t change everything about my style or wardrobe depending on what’s trendy, I just find small ways to add something in if it’s something I’m drawn to. The people I get the most inspo from aren’t following each trend, they just make each outfit their own and I love that.”

How does one go about finding their true personal style? I think it takes time and a lot of trial and error, which I’ve been through! But it’s so fun to experiment. The best thing someone can do is wear what
they love and what they feel comfortable in.

When it comes to style, fashion, and content curation, where does your inspiration come from? Who are your dream brands to work with + what’s next for you? I draw a lot of inspiration from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and different fashion sites/magazines. My favorite brands right now are Khaite, Chloe, Burberry, St. Agni, Isabel Marant, Tory Burch, and Veronica Beard. I’m working on my own brand right now! It’s scary, but exciting!
