“Not all those who wander are lost” is a famous adage that has remained true for many people worldwide, and it’s certainly true for the title character Frankie Scordato in the new musical, ‘Fixing Frankie’, which is set to premiere Off-Broadway this fall. Starring as Frankie Scordato is Broadway actor, George Psomas, a multi-faceted professional who not only excels as an actor and singer, but also as a host, voice-over artist and author of an award-winning children’s book.
This fall, New York theatregoers will witness the versatility of George Psomas, and a dazzling cast, with the premiere of a brand-new Off-Broadway musical that promises both laughter and heart. ‘Fixing Frankie’ marks the latest collaboration from Broadway veterans Joe Langworth and Steve Marzullo. The production will run from October 31 to November 15, 2025, at The Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at A.R.T./New York Theatres, located at 502 W 53rd Street, at 10th Avenue.
This far in his career, George Psomas has already performed on and off Broadway, on tour and in six world-premiere plays and musicals nationwide. Now, embodying Frankie Scordato marks a career milestone for him. Sharing his excitement on social media, he said, “I can’t wait to work with this incredible group of artists and share this beautiful and heartfelt story with the world”.
At its core, ‘Fixing Frankie’ is an original coming-of-age story about acceptance, forgiveness and joy. The story begins with a young Frankie Scordato, a boy growing up in the warm, chaotic embrace of an Italian-American household. Frankie navigates childhood’s struggles and joys into adulthood as he explores the universal questions of acceptance, resilience and belonging. The show highlights how families can shape us, how friendships save us in moments of need, and how faith can comfort yet also confuse, as it travels through the 1970s, 80s, 90s and beyond.
