Kira Jones launched Cacti Wellness as an anonymous blog and Instagram back in 2018, three years before there was a single product to sell. The insight was simple but sticky: the most productive people Kira knew had dialed-in routines, so she set out to help busy women build theirs. Today, Cacti Wellness has evolved into a community, a product line, and a philosophy Kira calls productive wellness—using rituals to fuel how you live and work.
The product universe reflects that POV. Her cult-favorite Bands reimagine the resistance band as a neutral, chic essential with a carry-anywhere, low-profile design. Cacti’s newest launch, a Tiger’s-Eye gua sha, doubles as a vanity-worthy object with real utility: a cool, grounding stone Kira uses to energize, de-puff, and release tension in minutes. Her goal, as Kira puts it, is to offer the community “elevated essentials for their daily routines.”
Community sits at the center of Cacti Wellness. Kira connects most directly through the Morning, Angels newsletter and IRL Cacti Wellness events—spaces where tips, accountability, and connection meet. And there’s more coming: an expanded product line and a new at-home workouts-and-meditations program rolling out on the app in October 2025.
Kira’s morning, by the minute
Sunrise, Not Snooze
5:30 AM: Hatch alarm goes off! I use the “Nordic Sunrise” light effect and the “Harmony at Dawn” sound. I swear by waking up this way! When it goes off, I try not to snooze and roll over to grab the remote for my blackout blinds so I can let light into the room first thing.
Five-Minute Face
5:45 AM: First things first, I put my contacts in and brush my teeth, then use our Cacti Wellness Tiger’s Eye Gua Sha for about 5 minutes. I love to pair it with the Herbivore Orchid Face Oil, then I wash my face and apply Rhode Glazing Milk & The Outset SPF!

Morning Mindset Ritual
6:00 AM: Coffee on my porch swing while I let Major (my dog) out. I slowly sip my coffee (a Melozio Nespresso pod + a splash of whole milk), listen to 528 Hz frequencies (miracle tone), and write out affirmations/scripting in my journal. This combo is truly a natural high. I feel such a difference if I miss a day!

6:15 AM: Walk Major for about 20–30 minutes through the neighborhood and listen to a motivational podcast. I try to avoid email/text during this time and just take in my surroundings and be present with my dog.

Moving With Intention
7:00 AM: Head to Equinox for my morning workout. I always joke that Equinox is my longest commitment—I worked there for three years and then became a member for the past 7! I start with a 15-minute “treadmill hike” with my incline at 8, then do a Cacti Wellness workout from our app with The Bands for 10–20 minutes. Short and sweet, but it’s the consistency that counts!

Rinse, Refuel, Focused
8:00 AM: I usually get ready at the gym so I can get right into work when I get home. I love to take an ice-cold shower, do light makeup, and put on something comfortable that still makes me feel put together. I love Beyond Yoga’s tennis dresses for this reason.
8:30 AM: Get home and make a high-protein breakfast, usually a Greek yogurt bowl or a smoothie. I also make a second coffee, an iced whole-milk maple sea-salt latte. So easy and honestly tastes better than any coffee I get when I’m out!

9:00 AM: Time to get to work at my desk or hop on the train to NYC (depending on the day)! I usually don’t start calls until about 10 AM so I have time to handle any urgent emails/internal questions before I get pulled into meetings.

“My why has always been the same: help busy women build routines that actually fit real life. That’s productive wellness. It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters, consistently. With Cacti, we’re creating elevated essentials for daily routines so you feel energized and supported—from a five-minute gua sha to a ten-minute Bands workout to the notes we swap in Morning, Angels. And we’re just getting started. Our app update with at-home workouts + meditations lands in October, and there’s a whole lineup of everyday tools coming next. If it doesn’t make your day easier, it’s not Cacti.”
Want more Cacti rituals, launches, and event invites? Join the Morning, Angels newsletter and keep an eye on the app for October’s at-home program!
