The WWE female wrestler Becky Lynch has self-proclaimed her team as the best of all time and she is now taking the full credit for the group’s formation just before the big Survivor Series event. Lynch actually made a post in which she tried to boast about having an ‘easy day at the office’ and a ‘historic win’ for the self-proclaimed G.O.A.T. while tagging her partners Lash Legend, Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Nia Jax.

A promotional picture of the five wrestlers was included in the post and it mainly received responses that were challenging Lynch’s narrative. Very quickly, many people pointed out a big mistake in her claim about ‘single-handedly’ forming the group.
Someone immediately questioned the order of events saying, ‘I’m sorry… who was the LAST person added to the team???’ This idea was repeated throughout the thread. Another commenter said very upfrontly, ‘The team existed before you joined em mate try again,’ while another, more elaborately, said, ‘You are taking all the credit for putting together a team that was already a team; you just aligned yourself with them.’
The comments were mainly about the order of team formation and something that at least a few users were saying about Lynch being a member of the team. ‘You’re the GOAT, Becky, but you have Nia Jax on your team, so by definition, you don’t have a stacked team,’ one of the people said. Another person used a past event to strengthen their argument, ‘Don’t you remember that Nia broke your face some years ago?’
The debate over which group is stronger also spilled over into the comments section. A supporter of Lynch declared, ‘Rotten Rhea. Charlatan Flair. Awful Alexa. Absolute Joke Lee. They have ZERO chance against the team YOU built,’ while another bystander voiced an opposite forecast, ‘Love Becky, but gotta go with Rhea and her ladies.’ A German-speaking user was even more blunt in their prediction, ‘You can forget that, the team of Rhea and Alexa will win. Stupid Becky and Nia Jax can pack it in, they are so dumb anyway.’
Some commentators have pointed out the tension between Lynch and Asuka’s established team, the Kabuki Warriors. One person asked ludicrously, ‘If it was really her team, then why is it called team Asuka? And why did she come in last?’ Another were leanig over to the view, ‘I’m so grateful to @WWEAsuka and @KAIRI_official , because let’s face it, the KABUKI WARRIORS will carry the rest of your sorry team to victory!’
A few replies were more philosophically oriented and they were saying that Lynch’s exaggerated and pompous tone was a conscious character choice. ‘First, I finally got what you are doing, and I love it,’ one user wrote, implying an appreciation for the heel. In contrast, someone made a not-so-kind political comparison, ‘This has already become tiresome. You can’t stand DJT but you are imitating him? Ummmmm nah.’
Lynch’s claim, albeit met with a lot of skepticism and criticism, still has some supporters among the fans. One of them yelled: ‘Big Time Becks telling the truth!’ another simply stated, ‘Team Becky is prepared for War Games.’

The mixed reactions illustrate how crucial the WarGames match is and how much the fans care about it. Lynch’s insistence on sole credit for her team’s formation has certainly paved the way for a very personal and heated clash, with the online discourse starkly splitting those who back her audacious assertion and those who view it as a significant reworking of the recent past. The actual match result will in fact carry the added significance of either validation or discredit of her bold claim.
