NBC fumbled up an erroneous teaser for Destination X next week, and already viewers are scrambling to parse the mad hints. The posted scene is rather short and transient but bears the caption: Expect the unexpected next week, so neighbors are curious to ponder the destination of these contestants-for, or perhaps they might already be somewhere completely unforeseen.

A remote and disarmingly sun-drenched landscape straight from a classic Western draws gasps, audible, and the contestants astonished: ‘Oh wow…What?’. To extend the cowboy motif, one contestant quips, ‘This town ain’t big enough for the two of us.’ The clip completes the weirdness by declaring, in all seriousness, that the place receives little rainfall and has so much sunshine.
Making another huge impression, another contestant, presumed to be a pilot given the context, sights the terrain: ‘I fly a lot,’ he declared. ‘This is like in the hills…right above the sea.’ The implication places them near Monaco or southern France, but the other contestant just shot down Arizona, so apparently, they are not in the US.
The fans raced to the comment section with their theories. One boldly declared it Almeria, located in Spain and famous for its desert landscapes and shooting location of a lot of spaghetti Westerns. Another simply said, ‘About to be an absolute banger,’ while several others joked about whether the show’s host “Rick” might be a waffle in this “good, bad, ugly” triad.
Top bangers came from a statement about back pain-land probably a reference to the contestants getting their backs taxed plenty through the rigors of competition. The real fuel was sloshed back into the geographic suppositions hotter than ever about Spain and Portugal. Another one lamented that the commentator-relative spasms yet failed to get his damn verified checkmark, reminding us that internet humor won’t cease even when speculations are driving everyone insane.
This very minimalist approach NBC has been features finally land well with an application of drawing everyone unto the show trying to pick apart every single frame for clues. Tessellated for horseback, isolated clues, and the exhilarating sharing-or-not-intel… ting will be worth viewing, regardless of whether it is actually Monaco or Spain or whoever else this enigmatic dude could be.

So, as the teaser wraps up, everyone is served on a platter of excitement. ‘There’s no place like home,’ one chimed; whether this was a clue or just a chuckle at their collective confusion remains to be seen. Anyhow, this wild ride starts sooner than later; saddle up already.
