The couple had been together for a decade, with Sandera and Eastwood becoming romantically linked in 2014 after the Western icon’s three decade marriage to first wife Maggie Johnson, which ended in 1984, and his second marriage to Dina Eastwood. The pair met in a restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea shortly after Eastwood’s second divorce.
The couple very rarely appeared in public together, and maintained a high level of privacy around their relationship. However, Sandera was regularly by Eastwood’s side for movie premieres and awards ceremonies that the actor-director attended.
