Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder has shared an update with fans after suffering a medical emergency on stage recently.
The musician is recovering after he was seen being rushed offstage following a medical emergency that occurred during a Rock Legends Cruise performance on Thursday (February 13).
In a video shared by an attendee via TMZ, Felder was seen introducing the Eagles’ 1973 classic ‘Tequila Sunrise’ and reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, which appeared on their second album, ‘Desperado’.
The clip shows him looking at the crew members side-stage before appearing to lose balance, after which he is helped off stage by his team as the crowd cheered in support.
Following the incident, his team shared an update on his Instagram Stories last night (February 14). “We appreciate everyone’s concern regarding Don Felder’s abrupt stop to his show last night on the Rock Legends Cruise,” they said.

“After receiving medical attention he was deemed to be suffering from dehydration. He was given fluids, and is feeling much better.”
The statement added that the remainder of Felder’s cruise performances will be rescheduled to “ensure he has ample time to rehydrate and recover fully”, and concluded: “Thank you for your understanding and remember – drink your water!”
Felder performed with the Eagles from 1974 to 2001, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band in 1998. News of his medical issue follows guitarist Steuart Smith stepping down from the band due to health struggles last month.
Following Smith’s departure, the band have reportedly brought in Christopher Holt as the newest addition to the line-up. The news was shared last month by his label, Idol Records.
The addition of Holt comes as the band recently brought the guitarist on stage during their residency show at The Sphere in Las Vegas. The group are currently breaking out career-spanning sets at the venue as part of an ongoing residency slot.

Earlier this year, the band also donated $2.5million (£2.1million) to FireAid, the benefit concert for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires that saw Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Rod Stewart, Katy Perry, Joni Mitchell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sting, Stevie Nicks, Gracie Abrams and Green Day perform at the city’s Intuit Dome and KIA Forum.
