Here’s when ‘Industry’ season four is coming out

Industry will return for its highly anticipated fourth season very soon, HBO has announced.

Yesterday (November 24), HBO announced that season four of the hit drama series will premiere on January 11. Season four will consist of eight episodes, each airing weekly until its conclusion in early March. The series airs exclusively on the BBC in the UK.

Additionally, HBO has released a stirring teaser trailer for the forthcoming season, hinting at several key characters facing their darkest moments yet, including the fallout of Yasmin’s (Marisa Abela) decision to marry Henry Muck (Kit Harington).

The trailer, soundtracked by Nina Simone’s cover of ‘Lilac Wine’, depicts blood, dancing, make out sessions, suspicions and a confrontation between Harpe (Myha’la) and Yasmin at a bar.

The trailer above also gives viewers a peak at new addition Kal Penn’s Jay Jonah Atterbury, who was previously described as the “CEO and founder of payment processor Tender.” Other new cast mates for season four include Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton, who will portray Jim Dycker, “a finance journalist.”

Kiernan Shipka (TwistersThe Last Showgirl), Jack Farthing (Towards Zero, Rain Dogs) Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso, The Power) and Amy James-Kelly (Three Families, Coronation Street), all of whom were announced in March, will also be joining Industry for season four.

One actor who won’t be returning for season four is Harry Lawtey, who starred in the series as Robert Spearing. According to Deadline, Lawtey’s departure from the show is due to scheduling conflicts, though the publication was unable to identify which of his projects will clash with season four’s production.

Season three of Industry saw the addition of Kit Harington, and the show was praised by fans as some of the “best ever” episodes of television. The finale was also hailed as “one of the greatest season finales I’ve ever watched”, “momentous” and “insanely good” by fans.
