The latest Grand Theft Auto 6 rumour suggests the second trailer for the long-awaited game is due next week.
Grand Theft Auto 6 was officially unveiled in December 2023 with a record-breaking first look trailer soundtracked by Tom Petty’s ‘Love Is A Long Road’. Developers Rockstar Games have reassured fans the long-awaited sequel will be released at some point this year, but still hasn’t confirmed a firm release date.
It’s led to a lot of wild theories and rumours as fans look for clues about Grand Theft Auto 6. The latest suggests Rockstar could be announcing the release date as early as next week.
Last week, Rockstar announced a new perk for its Grand Theft Auto Online membership program. “Claim a free Vapid Dominator GT muscle car and more with GTA+,” reads the post on X. Members also earn bonuses on Priority FIB Files and Terrorbyte Client Missions, save with Arcade Property discounts, and much more”. The post was accompanied by an image which one Grand Theft Auto fan thinks contains a clue about the new game.

Taking to Reddit, they explained that if they add up the numbers on the red shipping crate, they get 30, which they believe points to a January 30 announcement. They go on to explain that the 2 is highlighted, which points to the release of the second trailer.
It might sound like a reach but they explain how Grand Theft Auto 5 was announced on the last Thursday in January back in 2013 while Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced Thursday, February 1 in 2018. And January 30 also falls on a Thursday this year.
Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two also has an earnings call pencilled in for February 6.
“We all know it’s coming soon but that shit about adding up numbers is dumb as fuck,” replied one fan. “Until Rockstar says otherwise, I ain’t gonna believe on any of this shit,” added another.
Earlier this week, a new report claimed Grand Theft Auto 6 could cost up to $100, with other publishers hoping Take-Two raise their price so they can follow suit. However it’s also been reported that GTA6’s unknown release date is causing other games to be delayed, to avoid a potential clash.
