PinkPantheress has revealed they’re a huge fan of Red Dead Redemption 2 during a Reddit Ask Me Anything session.
PinkPantheress took to the Popheads subreddit last week to answer questions from fans to promote her upcoming ‘Fancy That’ mixtape, which is out May 9.
As well as revealing that she’d love to collaborate with Clairo and saying her ultimate comfort food is ramen, PinkPantheress confirmed they’re a big fan of Rockstar’s 2018 action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2.
When asked what subreddits she lurks on, PinkPantheress listed Tinder (because “it’s funny”) Popheads, Beyonce and Red Dead Redemption 2. “I love this game” she explained.
During a 2023 interview, PinkPantheress revealed she was about to finish Red Dead Redemption 2 and liked Fortnite but stayed away from The Legend Of Zelda games. “They’re too complex. I don’t get what’s going on [and] I don’t like fantasy.”
Elsewhere during the AMA, PinkPantheress said she was currently playing co-op game Split Fiction. “It’s fire and it’s the second kinda instalment thing to It Takes Two, which is also fire,” she wrote. “You should check out Split Fiction.”
PinkPantheress’ ‘Fancy That’ mixtape is out next month and “marks a new chapter” for the artist, according to a press release. “She embraces a new level of intimacy that seamlessly blends the music she grew up on. Her sophomore mixtape ‘Fancy That’ steps into her her fun and kitsch-y era, one that is rooted in British culture that showcases her signature vocals and genre-blurring production.” She’s also set to play two gigs at London’s Brixton Academy in September.
Last week, Evanescence’s Amy Lee revealed that her only tattoo was inspired by The Legend Of Zelda games. “Ocarina Of Time was my first role-playing game experience and I still play it from time to time, just to calm my heart down and go to sleep,” she said in an interview. “As they’ve gone into Breath Of The Wild and Tears Of The Kingdom, it’s just been this ongoing life journey with me, my family and Legend Of Zelda.”
In other news, Bethesda have surprise-released the long-awaited remaster of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
