TOP 10 BEST NFL PLAYERS OF 2022

  • Tom Brady, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Tom Brady was named the number 1 best player in the NFL league by his peers on the 14th of August, 2022. It’s the fourth time the star player has been announced the number 1 by his peers in the NFL Network’s annual countdown. Brady, a three-time MVP and seven-time Super Bowl champion, also received top honors in the “Top 100” in 2011, the inaugural year of the NFL Network countdown show, as well as in 2017 and 2018. He topped the NFL in passing yards (5,316) and touchdowns (43) last season, helping the Buccaneers to a 13-4 record.

  • Aaron Donald, DT, Los Angeles Rams
  • Known for his defensive tackles, Aaron Donald is one of the best players of his time. He is ranked the highest-rated defensive tackler in the NFL league and second on the Top 100 Best Players’ list. Donald wins a top-third ranking in the Top 100 for the fourth consecutive season, but his current string of seven consecutive selections is still going strong.

  • Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
  • Winning the award for the AP Most Valuable Player in the 2021 season, Aaron Rodger became the second player to win the MVP award four times in the history of the NFL. He is ranked the 3rd best player in the Top 100 Best NFL Players.

  • Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams
  • Cooper Kupp is ranked the 4th best player on the list and the highest-ranked pass catcher in the league. With 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns, Kupp became only the fourth player since 1970 to lead the league in each significant receiving metric. He received votes for MVP in addition to winning the 2021 AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year award for his performances.

  • Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts
  • It’s no surprise that the 23years old star player, Jonathan Taylor, is identified as one of the best players in the NFL by his peers. The young star’s big play capabilities have made him exceptionally unique among his peers, having the awareness to make the best use of his blockers, the balance to avoid being tackled, and the breakaway speed to make those long gains.

  • T.J. Watt, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers
  • With 72.0 sacks in five seasons, this 27-year-old is already standing fifth on the Steelers’ all-time list. In the 6th year, he will need 8.5 more sacks to pass James Harrison for the top spot. In addition to 64 tackles, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and a league-high 21 tackles for loss during his historic 2021 season, he won his All-pro nods. He is ranked the sixth-best player in the NFL.

  • Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
  • Devante Adams is the highest-paid WR receiver in the history of the NFL. With his speed, sure hand, size, route running, and awareness, he has led the league in each of the past five seasons.

  • Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
  • Mahomes has developed into a gunslinger quarterback with a rocket arm and one with capability in and around the pocket. The 26-year-old player led Kansas City to its fourth consecutive AFC Championship Game and is in the Top 10 for the fourth year in a row.

  • Jalen Ramsey, CB, Los Angeles Rams
  • In his second full season in Los Angeles, the 27-year-old star player produced yet another All-Pro and Pro Bowl campaign, moving up five spots to claim the top spot for a corner this year and his highest ranking in the Top 100.

  • Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
  • Tenth on the Best NFL Players’ List, after recording 92 receptions for 1,125 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021, Kelce is the highest-ranked tight end in the Top 100. The 32-year-old player is approaching his 10,000-yard mark in his career.
