Netflix has produced hundreds of original television shows and movies since 2012, and it can be hard to keep track of them all. It’s easy to remember big-budget productions with plenty of marketing. Shows like Stranger Things and Bridgerton are wildly popular, but what else has Netflix done over the years?
Believe it or not, reviews of forgotten Netflix shows vary greatly. Some seem to have been canceled for good reason. Others fared well when they were released, with strong reviews, and perhaps deserve a bigger platform today.
Here are 10 forgotten Netflix original shows that have been lost to time.

Mo Amer (Ramy) stars in the title role of this comedy-drama loosely based on his life as a Palestinian refugee descendant seeking American citizenship in Houston, Texas. Created by Amer and Ramy Youssef, Mo also stars Farah Busies (Daughters of Abdul-Rahman), Teresa Ruiz (Narcos: Mexico), and Omar Elba (A Hologram for the King). The second and final season premiered on Netflix in 2025.
Underrated and Worth Watching
Mo has received rave reviews, and yet promotion for the series has been pretty limited, especially in 2025. “Even as it cracks us up, it activates our empathy for Palestinians, refugees, immigrants, and others too often erased and dehumanized,” writes Judy Berman for Time. “Through Amer’s eyes, we see that these communities are America, and cutting them out would tear holes in the fabric of our society.” The show has a 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
