Since finding out that his dad is alive, Wolf has wanted to know more and more about him, and he finally has a chance on Brilliant Minds.
After learning that Sofia was a patient of Noah’s in exchange for writing up his memoirs, Wolf figured out a way to get more information.
He’ll treat Sofia in exchange for anything she knows about Noah, and we get to see that play out on Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 13 thanks to this exclusive sneak peek.

A Discussion About Noah
The clip from Brilliant Minds Season 2, Episode 13, offers a brief insight into Wolf and Sofia’s growing relationship. As they walk down the street, they share updates on everything Sofia has learned about Noah, and Wolf is certainly surprised by some of it.
It’s amazing how little Wolf knows about his own dad. While he believed his dad to be dead for decades, wouldn’t he have wanted some information?
I guess this comes from his abandonment issues. As a way to handle the pain of feeling abandoned, he decided to cut thoughts of his dad out of his life completely.

Finding out that his dad is still alive and was just living a life for so long has struck a chord, and now Wolf wants to get to know the man a little better.
It’s not that he’s interested in Noah, per se. He wants to understand his father better to get to the bottom of the abandonment.
However, it’s not all about Noah in the clip.
There is also a little focus on Sofia, and I’ll leave you with the clip below to get into before we delve into more details:
Someone to Talk To
There’s a heartwarming element to this clip from Brilliant Minds Season 2, but we also see Wolf compartmentalize.
While there is some new information about Noah, such as his time in Mongolia around 20 years ago and his meeting Sofia after asking for a cup of sugar, this is helping soothe his soul.
He needs to be able to talk about his dad, but he claims that nobody wants to discuss it.
The truth is, though, he’s not even opening up about his dad. Carol has tried to get him to talk, and she’s suggested therapy, but Wolf isn’t interested in following it.
(Pief Weyman/NBC)
It’s a bit of a lie when he says that everyone is sick of hearing him talk about it, but it’s more that nobody who knows Noah wants to talk about it.
His mom would be the best person to talk to, but she has shut him down time and time again, hoping to protect him.
That’s where the truth in the statement is: Muriel doesn’t want to talk about Noah.
Wolf needs to be able to discuss things with the right people, and he needs people who know about Noah. Sofia is the only person who can help him.
(Pief Weyman/NBC)
While Sofia wants to get to the bottom of her sleep issues, she is also more than happy to talk about Noah, and I can’t help but feel like this is a hint of something bigger going on.
Look, I have theories about this woman on Brilliant Minds!
This is just a small snapshot of things to come on Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 13, which will see Wolf, Dana, and Ericka thrown into the world of sororities and new-world diagnoses that are sure to surprise.
Brilliant Minds airs Mondays at 10/9c on NBC.
