Full House co-stars John Stamos and Lori Loughlin reflect on a decades-long friendship in a video going viral on TikTok.

Former Full House and Fuller House co-stars John Stamos and Lori Loughlin are having a mini-reunion in a new photo posted to TikTok. In the video, the song “Teenage Dirtbag” by Wheatus can be heard playing as the two actors make funny faces for the camera. With the song continuing to play, various images of Stamos and Loughlin from over the years are shown as well as the two longtime friends celebrate their bond, which may have started on-screen with their characters but continues off-screen to this day.
Full House ended in the 1990s, and after a five-season run, Fuller House concluded on Netflix in 2020. The cast more recently suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of Bob Saget earlier this year. But the love for these shows from the fans is as strong as ever, and there were many who were thrilled to see Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky together once again. In a little more than one week’s time, the video garnered more than nine million views.

Stamos was a part of Full House since its premiere episode with his role as Jesse Katsopolis, an aspiring rock star who moves in with his brother-in-law, Danny (Saget) and friend Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) to help raise three children after the death of Danny’s wife. Loughlin would join the series in season 2 as Rebecca Donaldson, a co-worker of Danny’s who ends up falling in love with Jesse. Referred to by the children as Aunt Becky, Becky becomes a part of the family when she married Jesse with the two later having twin sons of their own. Both Stamos and Loughlin would reprise their roles in the sequel series Fuller House with Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit also reprising their roles as twins Nicky and Alex.

Fuller House Is Over, But the Friendships Remain

Stamos has been keeping busy since Fuller House. He can now be seen in a starring role in the Disney+ series Big Shot, which returns for its second season on Oct. 12. Stamos has also been providing the voice of Iron Man in the children’s animated series Spidey and His Amazing Friends.
Meanwhile, Loughlin reprised her When Calls the Heart role as Abigail Stanton for the spinoff series When Hope Calls in 2021. Time will tell if there’s ever a Fullest House, but if so, perhaps we will see her back on the screen with Stamos once again to reprise their roles as Becky and Jesse.
