AMC+
After three successful first episodes, Mayfair Witches prepares to continue telling the story of Alexandra Daddario’s Rowan, who must develop her powers to fight the evil that is coming, with darkness advancing on her and her family, as well as on everything around her.
AMC continues to bet on Anne Rice’s stories after premiering the first season of Interview with the Vampire, which also managed to surprise the public and the author’s fans, despite some criticism. Now with Mayfair Witches, the universe expands, and the network prepares us for a new adventure in the teaser for the latest episode, which you can see below courtesy of AMC:
MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY
In the first episodes, Rowan had to immerse herself in the secrets and mysteries of her family, and now, as the video alludes, she must become aware of the entity of Lasher (Jack Huston). It will be her aunt Carlotta (Beth Grant) who will help her understand this new information.
In the video, Carlotta reveals to Rowan that she, too, had to deal with the presence of this powerful stranger and managed to push him away, and she hopes that she can be just as strong and do the same, in addition to giving her an important warning.

Mayfair Witches and Interview With the Vampire Are Just the Beginning
AMC Studios
The arrival of these two productions at AMC are just the beginning of a new plan that seeks to create an entire universe based on the stories of Anne Rice, exploring her mysterious and powerful characters, as well as her dark but hopeful stories that plunge into the supernatural and magical beings.
According to producer Mark Johnson, three other series from the same universe are already in development. However, at the moment, it is unknown which Rice’s stories they would be adapting. The writer’s bibliography includes other titles such as The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Exit to Eden, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief, The Wolves of Midwinter, and several spinoffs from her most popular work, The Vampire Chronicles, inspiration for Interview with the Vampire.
Anne Rice is one of the most recognized authors of modernity, managing to become one of the writers with the best sales rate in all history, more than anything, because of how her characters tend to maintain themselves over time and always be current, and the power of her stories to walk the fine line between fantasy and reality.
