Shay Mitchell’s Sheer Black Slip Dress in Italy

Shay Mitchell’s latest outfit is exceptionally cheeky. In a Sept. 8 Instagram gallery, the actor and entrepreneur shared a few photos wearing a sheer floral maxi dress during her vacation in Italy. The black St. Agni dress featured a cowl neckline, delicate straps, and curve-hugging silhouette. In later pictures, Mitchell turned to show off the back of the slip, exposing her matching black thong and the garment’s low scoop back.

Mitchell wore the dress while perusing the iconic Tarot Garden in Tuscany. She accessorized with Miu Miu cat eye sunglasses and gold hoop drop earrings. Tan Hermès sandals and a classic Louis Vuitton bag, which she wore over her shoulder, completed the look. She gathered her hair up in a claw clip to keep it out of the way during the rest of her Italian excursion, catching the sunset and driving along the pituresque countryside in a convertible with friends.

Although the Mediterranean lifestyle has inspired certain viral trends, including the vibrant “tomato girl” aesthetic, Mitchell’s Italian vacation wardrobe is classic and minimal by comparison. Her see-through dress seemed appropriately ethereal for a trip to Tuscany, exuding the type of quiet luxury made popular by celebrities like Sofia Richie and Kylie Jenner. Beyond its simplicity, the slip also seemed a bit more timeless than some of her other standout looks, including a Cannes dress made entirely out of glittery rope, and a silver feather minidress she wore on a previous trip to St. Barts.

Below, see Mitchell’s cheeky take on vacationwear and try not to let the FOMO get to you.
