To add spice to the debate, BetUS NBA launched a Twitter poll on how people rated their confidence in the Lakers winning the series against the Timberwolves on a scale of 1 to 10. The tweet presented the betting odds, which show the Lakers at +390 to win the series. And you could say the comments surely did NOT disappoint.

To put it simply, the tweet asked how confident are you in the Lakers pulling this one off in seven games? But the comments? Oh, man, those went from zero to a hundred in seconds. Some people were just roasting it while some went hard for the purple and golds.
A user caught interest with skepticism hot on her side. Lalo claimed, ‘lmao unserious, +390 to come back from 3-1, only done like 5 times in the whole history of American sports.’ This dude did NOT back down. But natee2x hit back with, ‘actually that’s occurred way more than five times: 13 for only basketball, 14 for MLB, and over 60 for hockey.’ So yeah, uh, seriously exposed.
Over on the other hand, there was Jeffster, who straight-up succumbed. The dude merely said, ‘Nah, it’s over. We are under size.’ Ouch. Salvage not a wing and a prayer for LeBron and AD, huh? But on the other hand, SwitchBandit makes an exhilarating post, putting in just a’ 10′ and posting a hype video. We love this type of energy.
Then we saw HoodiiLuka give a hard-tack ‘2.’ Bruh. A TWO? That’s basically saying you trust a flip of a coin more than the Lakers.
The craziest part? There were responses from comments draining to form a discourse about sports history, comebacks, and if the Lakers stood in any way to come back now. Some betting or gambling with back and forth- both ends exposing anybody dumb enough to bet against their gut. And, of course, BetUS NBA fielded in with, ‘Bet on the series now,’ following the link.
That leaves us with something. Well, the Lakers have some distance ahead, and so far, this split-the-fandom (and hateration) go-some-people-are-seeing-too-far-and-others-feel-it-is-a-done-deal case. But one thing is crystal clear: should the Lakers win, the online community would shudder anew.
For now, just sit back and start counting the bucks. Or do whatever pleases, ignoring the budget. Either way, the interest level just spiked up into another realm.

And hey, if nothing else, we were at least treated to a fun show through the Twitter replies. Never change, NBA Twitter. Never change.
