Lori Harvey put a corseted spin on classic suiting for a night out with Burberry in Los Angeles. The model, who recently starred in the first cover of Instagram’s new magazine “The Zine,” opted for a business-glam look to celebrate the luxury brand’s Lola bag.
For the special event — held at a private West Hollywood residence and hosted by Burberry’s chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci — Harvey wore a body-skimming, square-neck bustier with an internal boning structure and a sculpted hem. She paired it with menswear-inspired, wide-leg trousers. Both garments appear to be designed in the gabardine fabric of Burberry’s iconic trench coat and are affixed with the brand’s recognizable buttons. Harvey’s ensemble is an interpretation of the archival design, a theme Tisci explored in his fall 2022 collection. In fact, models paraded in deconstructed trench coat-style maxi dresses, all new silhouettes paying homage to Burberry’s enduring creation.
Harvey completed her look with the heritage brand’s small quilted lambskin Lola bag, a textured style crafted from Italian-tanned lambskin and embellished with a silver chain and the Thomas Burberry Monogram. She held it as a clutch, which allowed for a better glimpse of her round-toe shoes. Her short curly hair was parted to the side, and her go-to soft glam makeup provided the finishing touch.
Launched in 2019 and described as the “unstructured little sister of the elegant TB bag” per the website, the Lola Bag was naturally the hottest accessory of the night, carried by several other guests in attendance including Madonna, Chlöe Bailey, Anitta, and Tinashe, who each brought their own edge to the evening in their head-to-toe Burberry looks. Guests were treated to a live performance by Erykah Badu and DJ sets by a variety of artists. They also toured various rooms that were decked out in the brand’s heritage beige tone, from a dance floor to outdoor lounges.
