Sue Wong “Next Year the Oscars”

As I watched  the Oscars recognized as Hollywood’s biggest night of the year, I am truly tortured. Just a week ago I was at the most spirited, lively, and joyous event of the year….. fashion designer Sue Wong’s launch of her latest project “Sue Wong Designer Estates.” Next year Sue  Wong and her team have my vote for the production of the Oscars.

She certainly had more celebrities at her event than the Oscars, including Billy Zane, Jack O’Halloran, Mike Ferguson, Scott Page, Ken Davitian,  Kenny Aronoff, Chris Wyse, Claudia Wells, Vincent DePaul, Jim Beaver, Jennifer Rubin, Ronn Moss, Devin DeVasquez,  Eugenia Kuzmina, Chris Pitman, Leland Sklar, Kristin Dalton, ARO, Jon Tempesta, Sadie Katz, Sheri Davis, Will Champlin, Jimmy Star, Ron Russell, Kitty Paradise, and many others.

The event took place in nicer surroundings than this year’s Oscars. The party took place in the lavish garden poolside surrounding Villa Feliz her 6000 square-foot Hacienda styled mansion. The estate has 7 1/2 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms and was fully furnished.

Sue welcomed her guest’s entry to the home via personal tours led by celebrity actors and actresses.

The extravaganza was more glamorous than that of the Oscars. Wong had her goddess models sharing their sparkle and dazzle. Rock’d Vodka and Smith Devereux wine was served with gourmet hors d’oeuvres surrounding a blazing fire pit while The Golden Girls Dance Troop performed.

The Oscars had no televised after party. Sue Wong had a spectacular wild rocker party at her own residence the famous Cedars known as the former residence of many celebrities including Bella Lugosi, Norma Desmond, Johnny Depp, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Morrison from The Doors. The party offered food and drink and a rock ‘n’ roll jam from some of the greatest musicians on the planet. It also lasted the entire night.

So next year let’s liven up Oscar night and let Sue Wong produce it!
