Carrie Ann Inaba may be among the show’s faces for the final time, while viewing criticism flows upon her and other judges regarding certain decisions rendered in recent weeks. The long-time judge posted a promotional message for TikTok Night, and many fans chose to use this opportunity to vent their frustrations regarding scoring, which were to be followed by more controversial eliminations. Mixed reactions are still indicating the passionate divide of the show’s audience as it heads into its final few episodes.

More than a few commenters offered excitement, and positive remarks about her appearances, while many comment sections became a forum to debate recent judge decisions.

Some comments echoed confusion and frustration at the actual voting processes. “It just doesn’t seem right that DWTS is filmed in Los Angeles, but we have to vote before the contestants dance. Help me understand this. It doesn’t make sense. I feel like we don’t count… we don’t exist,” congratulated one of the viewers, mostly reflecting once again on voting and performance online clashes, really one of the longest-standing points that kept being hammered all season long by the very active viewers.

It has always been kept consistent by most viewers that the harshest criticism is leveled against scoring inconsistency with Lauren‘s elimination being the most targeted. Many viewers began to cry for answers as to why Lauren received the exact scoring as Andy when in their perspective she was obviously much better: “How are you going to give Lauren the same scores as Andy? Like in what world,” another fan demanded, “I’ve never been so disappointed in the judges. YOU HAVE TO SCORE FAIRLY. NO MATTER WHO GOES AT THE BEGINNING OR THE END. You’re telling me Andy’s dance was on par with this? Because you gave them the same score.”

More tempered comments came in from some audiences about judging overall. “Genuinely as a dedicated watcher, can you please try to be less biased with your votes/more consistent. It’s actually so apparent that you judge people differently based on who they are and that’s just not the purpose of the show. Its not fair to contestants work so hard, and it’s a slap in the face to watchers,” one long-time watcher offered. This inference suggests that for some fans, it’s not simply about one elimination; it is about constant judging standards being applied throughout the season.

Elsewhere, many other followers expressed their eagerness and excitement for the upcoming show, with one admitting, “Absolutely gorgeous! Excited to watch,” while another exclaimed, “cant wait for tonight!! gonna be epic.” Multiple praised Inaba’s look; one commented, “I’ve been saying all night, your makeup is flawless!!!!” It appears that even through the controversy, many remain loyal to her.

Such division in the comments truly indicates how passionately the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ viewers have invested in the competition, especially given that it is coming to an end. Some viewers attend the show expressly for entertainment and spectacle; others place honorable importance on the integrity of the judging process and outcomes. The interplay between entertainment and competition has been the show’s dynamic since day one, though somehow it is a lot more prominent this last season. The cast, including Scott Hoying, has been a big part of the season’s energy.

The mixed reaction provoked by Carrie Ann Inaba’s post was merely one way to signify every bit of excitement and controversy ever to have faced a long-term, well-loved entertainment institution as ‘Dancing with the Stars’ nears its conclusion. This judging panel remains the core of the show’s drama, adored by some and mocked by others, never seeming really to escape the spotlight as an entity on its own. Obviously, they attract viewers either for the dancing or for the drama or for both, which tells a lot about the passion that will mark the topics of discussion and viewership of the last episodes with urgency. The season also featured contestants like Danielle Fishel Karp and Alix Earle. In another emotional moment, pro Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy shared a tribute to her eliminated partner.
