“High School Musical” Cast Members Reunite in Paris

The Wildcats are together again — and this time they’re in Paris! On Saturday, “High School Musical” director Kenny Ortega and actor Drew Seeley (who did the singing for Zac Efron‘s Troy) shared photos from the cast’s reunion at the Dream It Conventions in Paris on Instagram. Cast members in attendance included Seeley, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, and Bart Johnson.

Ortega captioned his reunion photo simply with, “@dreamitcon #paris #hsmforever.” In the picture, Hudgens can be seen hugging Grabeel, while Johnson wraps his arm around Bleu’s shoulder. Johnson commented on the pic, writing, “Back with my Wildcat family!! ❤️❤️❤️🏀🐾”

Meanwhile, Seeley shared a group photo alongside a caption that read: “Like no time has passed. #HSM reunion in Paris 🇫🇷👌@dreamitcon.” For his part, Johnson also shared a few videos from his meet and greet with fans on his Instagram Story. In one, a young “High School Musical” viewer appeared to bring him a bag of pastries he baked himself.

If you didn’t make it to Paris to see the Wildcats’ reunion, don’t worry — several cast members are set to appear in “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” season four. The very meta season will include appearances from Johnson, Bleu, Grabeel, Monique Coleman, Alyson Reed, and Kaycee Stroh. According to Disney+, the new season will find the characters returning to East High for their senior year only to discover the school is being used to film “High School Musical 4: The Reunion.”

Although Hudgens hasn’t signed on to appear on “HSM: The Musical: The Series,” she’s made it clear she’ll always be a Wildcat at heart. In June, she visited East High and shared a video of the moment on Instagram. She captioned the picture with a quote from her character, Gabriella Montez. She wrote, “Do you remember in kindergarten how you’d meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you’re playing like you’re best friends because you didn’t have to be anything but yourself?”
