Glassjaw to play classic albums in full as more names join line-up

New names have been added to the line-up for Outbreak 2025, including Glassjaw who will break out some of their classic albums in full.

The first wave of artists joining this year’s instalment of the festival was shared back in November, and it was confirmed that Knocked Loose and Alex G would be leading the line-up.

For the former, the slot comes following their new album ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To’, and other names joining the bill included Danny Brown, Denzel Curry, Momma, Tigers Jaw, Sunny Day Real Estate, Drug Church, Slowdive and Superheaven, as well as former NME Cover stars, Militarie Gun, Model/Actriz and Julie.

This year’s edition of Outbreak will also see a London date added to the mix – as well as the regular site at the B.E.C. Arena in Manchester. The one-day stop in the capital will be held on June 13, while the Manchester instalment will be held on June 14 and 15.

Now, a host of new artists have been added to the line-up, including post-hardcore legends Glassjaw who will use the slots to break out some of their classic albums in full. For the Manchester sets, they’ll perform a full run-through of ‘Worship And Tribute’ on the 14th and ‘Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence’ on the 15th. The London show will see a blend of the two tracklists.

The appearance will be the first time the band have performed a set composed solely of tracks from these records since 2022. It’ll also see them joining Turnstile, who will return for a one-off UK-exclusive headline show.

Other new artists confirmed today (February 6) include Bay Area group Big Boy, hardcore band Terror, XWEAPONX – who will be making their first UK run – and thrash/hardcore group Pest Control.

Elsewhere, No Relief, Gleemer, Contention, Mitsubishi Suicide, Jivebomb, Final Resting Place and Stuff Meds have been added to the bill. Visit here for tickets and find the latest line-up poster above.

The 2024 instalment of Outbreak saw Basement headline, and performances coming from the likes of JPEGMAFIA, Flatbush Zombies, The Garden, Soccer Mommy, Show Me The Body, Poison The Well, Angel Du$t, Mannequin Pussy, Ceremony, Touché Amoré, Movements, Incendiary, Mindforce and more.
