Rosamund Pike joins the cast of Lionsgate’s heist-thriller, Now You See Me 3. The actor will find herself portraying a ‘pivotal role’ in the magician-centric film series. Pike is well-known for her lead role as Moiraine Damodred in Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time.

Now You See Me 3 has been under development since April 2020. Initially penned by Eric Warren Singer, the screenplay has since passed into the hands of Seth Grahame-Smith. Ruben Fleischer, known for his work on Zombieland and Venom, has been brought on as director, succeeding Louis Leterrier and Jon M. Chu who directed the first two films of the franchise.

Now You See Me series, best known for its potent mix of illusion and heist intrigue, revolves around a charismatic group of magicians known as the Four Horsemen. The illusionists have thrilled the masses by merging the art of magic with the thrill of high-stakes thefts. The original cast featured Jesse Eisenberg as the confident leader J. Daniel Atlas, Woody Harrelson as the mind-reader Merritt McKinney, Isla Fisher as the daring escape artist Henley Reeves, and Dave Franco as the young trickster Jack Wilder.
