He played Walter White’s son Walter Jr. on the critically acclaimed, hugely popular AMC series.
His reps confirmed the news to Deadline, saying:
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte. Drawing from his own experience living with cerebral palsy, Mitte brought authenticity to the role [of Walter White Jr.] and built a platform on disability awareness and inclusion.”
He just did a podcast episode with The Joe Vulpis Podcast that went live last week, too. This is so unbelievably sad.
RJ lived with cerebral palsy and brought awareness to the condition through his work as a disability rights advocate.
This story is developing.
Sending our sincere condolences to his loved ones.
