Chloe Fineman was just about to have a Hollywood Bear Stearns moment. The SNL star shared the photo on Insta with the caption “full circle moment” with none other than Jamie Lee Curtis, which led to one of the largest internet melt-downs the world has ever seen. The shot shows two stars firmly in that embrace one might expect to see on a red carpet, extinguishing their laughs into the night. With the caption, Fineman threw on total chaotic energy: “Am I aloud to curse??! THE ultimate cheerleader (and a true comedic genius in this movie!!) @jamieleecurtis what a treat to finally meet and full circle moment (swipe!)”

First of all, yes, Chloe, you are allowed to curse (as one commentator humorously retorted), but this post says more than enough about her excitement without such language. The picture just screams joy! Fineman is smiling widely while Curtis stays utterly fabulous in pink and literally looks like she’s going to drop the funniest one-liner on earth, while some poor reporter holding a mic urges her: “please let me in on this iconic moment.” This is the kind of natural, real celebrity interaction worth obsessing over.
Comments here? What a roller coaster ride. One user called the meeting “what we all needed,” while another hilarious fan was commenting on how freakishly similar Fineman’s outfit was to Curtis’ in the caption, calling it “iconic.” Then you get the obligatory fan-gibberish-comment-gone-wild love letter: “Chloe you the coolest person in the world the coolest person on SNL congratulations again Chloe on SNL 50…” (We get it, you’re excited).
Some, however, just aren’t with it. Another commentator wrote: “You’re all really easily amused,” to which another responded ensconced in laughter: “Imagine coming to a comedian’s post and being mad, it’s so funny 😭.” Then marched the disgruntled one again: “Not funny in the slightest,” only to get smacked with this ultimate shutdown: “Not everyone has taste it’s ok ❤.”
Then comes the wildcard: A comment that took a really dark turn. “Life has always been against us… maybe it’s high time I gave up and end it all 😭😭.” Yikes.
The history behind this goes a little way to make this one even better. One of the more famous SNL impressionists has, of course, done sketches about Curtis before, making this meet-up feel almost like destiny. Curtis, of course, is a legend-horror icon, and comedy queen, and worldwide Hollywood treasure. Now seeing them together is fun for the two generations of funny women passing the torch (or at least sharing a good inside joke).

So yeah, that’s just the wholesome crazy-good content we need more of: no drama, no scandals, just two funny women celebrating each other. Don’t like it? Apparently, from the comments, that’s your problem.
