On Instagram, Emily Moore Simpson, from ‘Real Housewives of Orange County,’ immortalized her husband Shane’s milestone birthday by sharing snap shots of the family’s magical trip to Disney! The post contained a very lovely family photograph and almost immediately received a slew of comments from followers who could not get enough of this heart-warming ceremony.

The image depicts the smiling Simpson family in front of a towering Ferris wheel-the roller coaster on the far end, to the left of the frame with bright decorations of the park filling the background. Everyone was in some casual wear, with a few in some Disney-themed shirts, basking in the sun with smiles and gabbing along. Emily added a cheeky caption: “Happy 50th! Why don’t you ever age?!”
The comments were inundated with birthday wishes and compliments. One-and-a-half might have read, “Happy birthday Shane! Such a beautiful family Emily you are so blessed! And you look 🔥🔥🔥 love that Disney fit!!” Another said, “You’re right, he doesn’t age! Happy Birthday, Shane! (PS – Love the Podcast. You two are a great combo.)”
Although most were of praise, one person took advantage of the moment and asked, “Why do you always wear workout gear???” Searching for a comeback, Emily replied, “bc I’m walking around Disneyland for 12 straight hours. What do you want me to wear? A gown and heels?” The comeback only solidified the fans’ support, one of whom wrote, “Why wouldn’t she ?? She’s not going to a party.”
This other commenter chimed in to criticize another matter: “Is a mom letting her nipples stick out in front of her kids a California thing? Here in PA we would never!” The remark was followed with eye rolls to which one person said, “oh lord 🙄go clutch those pearls.”
During the din, many fans took the opportunity to praise the couple’s podcast, with one saying, “Omg! Loving your podcast! The way you two feed off each other as you break down cases in the most understandably simplistic terms, makes me actually care about the outcome of these cases.”
Shane, which turned out to be a more than very polarizing figure for some time, seems to have gotten many of his skeptics on his side, one of the comments reading, “NGL Shane used to get cringe from me during the first few seasons but he actually turned out to be such a GREAT guy! He’s hilarious lol!!!! Happiest Birthday! Here’s to 50+ more!”
But that party was just as much an occasion for the wishing itself, an expression of how much the Simpsons have grown for outsiders. From podcast praise to spot-on banter, the post showcased their relationship: fun, real, and full of love.

The comments just kept coming, and the one very clear thing was that Shane’s 50th just had to be celebrated, be it for the family vibes, for the podcast love, or maybe for a little bit of drama. Simply put- Emily is the queen of entertaining, in real life, and on screen!
