Lil Baby Declares He’s ‘Turnt Up’ And The Comments Section Erupts With Demands And Jokes

Rapper Lil Baby kept it brief but vibrant on his social media and nothing more than “I BEEN TURNT UP …” along with a dash of “……….”. Fans’ comments came flooding soon after with the rapper’s, who were showing their impatience for his new songs by asking, and making funny remarks on his fashion and the time he belongs to.

Dominque Jones, the Atlanta musician, gave very little insight into what was going on in his post. He let four words and an infinite number of dots fall out of his mouth. But it was enough to wake up the conversation among his vast audience. The phrase ‘turnt up,’ which was one of the most frequently used words in the hip-hop slang, was in fact, a confirmation that Lil Baby was in high spirits and party-ready state- and as such, it caught a wave of instant reactions.

Discussing the comments, the most of them were in relation to his music, especially the last album, ‘WHAM.’ A user was asking ‘DELUXE WITH WHEN I’M HOME??’ repeatedly. This was no random longing; the very same question was repeated across the feed pointing to a segment of the audience which strongly desired an expanded version of the project including the particular song. Another user, however, was inquiring about the possible music video, as he asked, ‘You ever gonna drop the Stiff Gang music vid from WHAM?’

At the same time, the support for the rapper current era was heard, but it was not that loud. One of the critic comments read, ‘Boy boo, I’m sick of this weak music you keep dropping bring the 2020 baby back🙄🤏🏾’ The comment that assumed the past sound of the rapper, which was closely linked with his commercial explosion period, was actually issuing a challenge in the comment section. Defenders of the new music claimed their case, one of them being the user ‘]u tweaking,’ while the original claim made it clear that they were ‘just talking shii’ and that Lil Baby was still their favorite rapper. This is a typical artist-audience scenario: the back-and-forth between growth and the wish for the known.

Music was the topic of the day in both serious and lighthearted discussions. A user pointed out his looks by saying, ‘Crispiest u been in forever my guy 🔥 Bout Damn Time.’ The original poster was claiming that it is ‘the time for’ and has been ‘the time’ when one should look sharp or stylish, but another user humorously replied that the original commenter says that ‘every time a nigga get crispy 😂’.

If there is one irony that could top the rest, it would be the user who relayed the post’s very early hour and wrote, ‘Wham you Stuntin on niggas at 8 in the morning.’ Replies to the comment went like ‘on a Tuesday 😂’ and ‘he can’t wait till 12 🤣’ accompanied by laughter. Another user went deeper with the idea that ‘when you rich yo ass stunt at any time 😂😂😂 prolly even 6 am,’ which would refer to the always exhibited luxury lifestyle of celebs who are always in public eye.

Among the answers, there were some that nostalgically mentioned, for example, ‘tell em to check that myspace back then !’ as well as very explicit support proclamations, like ‘i been said u da rap iverson💯💯💯’—the comparison to basketball star Allen Iverson, who was known for his cultural impact and individuality, was spot on.

The world has slowly started to accept the fact that Music is just a part of showbiz. Being one of the most streamed artists worldwide, Lil Baby’s post has made it technologically easier to measure the actual feedback and vibes of a mixed anticipation, critique, and an unwavering though sometimes jesting loyalty mood of his audience. It is through our live interactions that we see how even the most trivial statement from a superstar often turns out to be a gathering place for the community where they can discuss, make demands, and share inside jokes. As a result, the connection between the artist and the audience becomes stronger and more vibrant. In other news, Chris Brown has announced a new sneaker release. Additionally, fans have been discussing recent collaborations, including a track featuring 42 Dugg. The artist also recently teased a Dubai club appearance with a cryptic video. His musical direction continues to spark debate, as seen with the release of his track “Middle of the Summer“. To close out the year, Playboi Carti joined Lil Baby for a fiery video.
