Lil Pump Drops ‘Budget’ Music Video And Asks Fans For Their Real Opinion

To kick-off the year 2025, Lil Pump went off with music video release for his song ‘Budget.’ However, the rapper put up an indirect dilemma to his followers on social media, whether the visual was fire or a flop, hence stirring a very quick and multifaceted reaction from those who already felt the old-wave vibe.

Okay, let’s not pretend. Lil Pump is back, and he is very loud declaring ‘Budget.’ The rapper came out with a video and is letting everybody for or against him as to whether he is a genius or just a clown. “🔥 or 💩????”—that was the only thing he posted, very easy yet very heavy. No elaborate marketing, no pretending—just the audience the way he wants. This is totally the vibe we should be getting with 2025, at least.

Speaking of the video, it is nothing but a mood, folks. The brief flashes disclose all the classical yet crazy Lil Pump. The video is marked by fast cuts, money being thrown about, luxury cars, and the same over-the-top delivery that the rapper has been known for. His lyrics are about things being “outta your budget,” and the rapper is counting stacks, plus, he even tells a guy to “go put the fries in the bag.” It is loud and clear, it is in-your-face and it is a kind of subtle return to the surface of the sound that actually broke through and won his fame. Actually, he posted “202026 I’m talk. Over again,” which raised the question of whether he was referring to a return to that style of a massive comeback in that particular era.

His question practically divided the audience, and the online reaction was an instant and sizeable one, which was exactly what one would expect. There are always some people who want more and more. One user was super vibrant and wrote, “Woooh the video is awesome! 🔥”, and that’s the kind of backing that every artist longs for. Another one pointed the nostalgia element brilliantly with his/her commentary, “Twin boutta bring 2016 back.” And to be honest, they might be right, a little. The images and sounds are nothing but a repeat of that highly electric time when ‘Gucci Gang’ was ruling the charts.

Though that is only one way of looking at it, and in fact, every coin has two sides. The critics were not that supportive of Lil Pump however. A user just posted a ‘facepalm’ and a ‘trash can’ emoji together with the words “piss me off everyday” next to them. Ouch! That was a very harsh review. One more was more tactful and suggested “Josh ain’t going to like this one.” Such remarks do make one want to go back and rewatch the video trying to decode what inside joke or reference one might have overlooked previously.

Despite the negative feedback, the comment section had plenty of requests and big ideas. “Do a song with 6ix9ine,” was one suggestion that sounded like an old rumor about a possible collaboration that has been in the air for some time. Another one read, “We need a BOSS 2026 remix,” which shows that the fans have already begun to think about future projects. And there was also a passionate plea from a concert-goer: “BRO CAN YOU PLEASE GO ON TOUR.” It is quite obvious that people are still very much eager to see his live show.

Lil Pump did indeed take a courageous step by releasing ‘Budget’ and openly seeking the audience’s opinion. It slices through the normal barrage of promotions and gives the audience direct power over the artist. Whether you consider it a grand comeback or an utter failure, the discussion is happening. The rapper is talking on his terms, blending his trademark chaotic style with a new, clear-cut path to his listeners. Since we are just at the beginning of the year, Lil Pump is once again securing his spot in the conversation with his strong opinionated comment, one at a time. This release follows his recent new track ‘Metele’, and fans also recall his reunion with Smokepurpp for another song.
