As fans know, Britney Spears took to her platform, not too long ago, to mention a number of fellow celebs who have made her quarantine easier and one of them was Miley Cyrus ! That being said, it turns out that the latter knows about the shout-out and she was definitely honored!
It all started with Britney posting a number of pictures of different stars who have ‘inspired’ her and made her pandemic life easier and one of them was Miley.
In the caption, she wrote: ‘These are the women who have truly inspired my life.’
One source told HollywoodLife how Miley feels about this sweet tribute: ‘She’s a huge supporter and a lifelong fan, so getting a shout out from her was just a massive honor.’
So it turns out that the love is definitely mutual!
In fact, Miley has been a massive fan of Britney for many years and she is also a vocal ‘Free Britney’ supporter.
Previously, while performing Party in the USA at NFL’s TikTok Tailgate Super Bowl pregame livestream, Miley shouted her out as well by literally shouting: ‘We love Britney!’
And that was not the first time she did something like this!
In fact, in 2019, during a Memphis concert, while performing the same song, Miley shouted ‘Free Britney’ on stage.
The audience was just as supportive, singing along to the lyrics that go ‘And a Britney song was on…’
The insider also dished that Miley has been ‘pushing for the Free Britney movement even before the documentary even came out. [Miley] considers her a legend. So, to be on Britney’s radar in a positive light is such an amazing moment for Miley. She feels so much for Britney and what she has gone through, and if she had a chance to help, she would. She respects the woman that Britney has become and has always been to Miley. So, if there is anything that Miley does that makes Britney happy, that is such an honor for Miley.’
