Under the shining Florida sun, Savannah Chrisley aims high. The reality star shared her gratitude on Instagram this week, sharing glimpses into her life in Palm Beach with a conversation she had with Lara Trump for an episode of My View on Fox News. There was gratitude, hopefulness, and a little smattering of controversy-attention in this internet world seldom ever goes without being drawn to it.

As Savannah wrote in her caption, the last two and a half years went through painful gyrations that shaped her and her younger brother, Grayson. She talked about planning their futures together with each other while holding on to their faith and coming to accept Palm Beach and Jupiter. The post also included photos of her with Lara Trump, her brother, and the sea turtle on the beach at night where the whole bloody mess started.
And how did the world form so many opinions?
Where some members of the public cheered those cast members for their resiliency and hope, many more faced controversy concerning those sea turtle pics. Several in the public reproached those cast members for using flash against the nesting animal-an absolute no for conservation. One said, “Camera flash on a nesting sea turtle… nice.” Another one wrote, “Un-friggin-forgivable.”
However, the other half of those attacks were not about turtles. That related the Trump family, and so politics came into the comment mix. Some accused her of cozying up to Lara Trump, hoping that she could work out a pardon for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, presently serving sentences in prison for fraud. “You should be ashamed of yourself!!!” one comment read. Another sarcastically commented, “Mam, you’re doing all of this he is not going to pardon your parents they are criminals.”
Which, on the other hand, means that many rallied for her: “Your strength is so inspiring,” said a member of the public. “This gave me chills. Proof that purpose can rise from pain.” And, of course, one of them supports her just for those accessories: “Where did you get your large cross necklace? Love it.”
Savannah’s post got everyone talking: the message of the strength of the inlet; the political undertones; and misconstrued wildlife violation-whether you like the story or hate it. What is for sure, that show is not going to stop Savannah from dreaming big. Ivy herself gave the netizens a lot to talk about.

As for the turtle? Hopefully, it was at least scratched on its back a little while wading deep into the waters. Maybe next time, Savannah will skip the flash lightbanks.
