In celebration of three years of bliss with Mrs. Kardashian, Travis shared a sincere post. Yet, the internet was loaded with comments. The soul of rock and roll, well known for his hard-partying antics and romances, left an Instagram message that read: ‘Married three years. Loved you forever. Here’s to always 🌹.’ So simple, yet so not! The comment section turned into a battleground in less than a blink of an eye.

First, let’s bask in all things—love is in the air. A few followers went optimally with heartwarming congratulations. Happy Anniversary to you both! #LoVe ♥️💖✨, one of many said. Another simply stated, ‘You two are the best♥️.’ Other musicians expressed support, such as one fan: ‘Happy anniversary my hero 🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🖤.’ Then… it got weird.

Things started to get messy when one person put in: ‘Loved her when you were married to another woman and we’re raising 2 kids?🥴🤡.’ The comment targeted Barker’s previous marriage to Shanna Moakler, with whom he shares two children. A flood of sharp defenses followed in the comments: ‘You’re so stpd. Grow up you old hag.’ Another said: ‘Oh shut up,’ and so far Barker’s romantic history remains a sore point for many.

Now, for the “Kim Kardashian” level of drama. Several members of the audience brought up Barker’s old crush on Kourtney’s sister. ‘Loved u forever 😂😂😂 im dead ☠️ u mean u loved her sister forever but her sister saw you as nothing so u loved onto this one just to stay relevant,’ ranted one user. This involved the book, and it went downhill from there. ‘We read your book. especially the chapter about how you were in love with Kim Kardashian while being on and off with Shanna the mother of your kids,’ one user said. The defenders weren’t having that. ‘Well if you actually read his book you would know he never loved Kim, and never wrote he loved Kim,’ one defended. At least that rare barrier in language didn’t stop the nuisance. A comment in Spanish was translated as, “The day Kim graduates as a lawyer is also her wedding anniversary? Godsss.” Honestly, no clue about the meaning, but now it’s in there.

The Barker–Kardashian show is that of a couple perfectly happy with themselves. They created a joint existence by blending their families and having a son just for good measure last year. The ones are going to give commentary for eternity—especially when it’s Kardashian-U; however, at this point, three years in, these two are pretty solid.

So here’s what it means: Celebrity relationships are always going to be torn apart, but the only opinion that really counts is the opinion inside the marriage. Based on Barker’s post, they’re ok. Now, can we just leave these people be? Probably never. But hey, a girl can dream.
