Die-hard fans of action film legend Bruce Willis can feast their eyes on the megawatt star in the action-packed science fiction thriller Corrective Measures on the streaming service Tubi. Based on the Grant Chastain graphic novel of the same name, Willis plays the role of Julius “The Lobe” Loeb, an evil genius sitting on an untraceable fortune.

In March, the Willis family released a statement announcing their patriarch’s departure from acting due to his struggle with aphasia, a language disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate. The post had been signed by Willis’s daughters Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, and Evelyn along with his wife Emma and ex-wife Demi Moore. The family admitted to facing challenges but expressed appreciation for all Bruce Willis fans who followed his storied career.

Corrective Measures centers around San Tiburon, an Ubermax prison hidden in the Great Northwest where cyborgs, monsters, and supervillains are housed and controlled 24-hour power inhibitors and shock collars. Most notorious among them is “The Lobe” (Willis), a man not willing to part from his riches. Nevertheless, the equally corrupt Warden Devlin (Michael Rooker) is someone who desperately wants to get his hands on said riches and has been trying to crack the Lobe for years. The prison is thrown into chaos after the arrival of Payback, played by Dan Payne (Watchmen), a murderous vigilante out for revenge. Diego Diaz (Brennan Mejia of Power Rangers) plays the part of a driver who is there on trumped-up charges. The movie also stars The Flash’s Tom Cavanaugh as Gordon “The Conductor” Tweedy, a long-suffering inmate who literally sends shock waves throughout the prison and men, causing order to be turned upside down.

Bruce Willis Has More Movies Coming in 2022

Lionsgate

Also slated for a 2022 release are two more Bruce Willis movies. In the thriller The Wrong Place, he plays the role of Frank. The film tells the story of a methamphetamine cook who hunts down a small-town former police chief in an effort to prevent the man from delivering eyewitness testimony against his family.

In the action flick Fortress: Sniper’s Eye, also referred to as Fortress 2 and is a sequel to Fortress, Willis stars as Robert Michaels. The story revolves around a top-secret resort for retired U.S. intelligence officers and stars Kelly Greyson, Jesse Metcalfe, and Chad Michael Murray. Greyson recently spoke about how it was to work with Willis on the sequel, and you can read her comments below.

“I never heard of [his] diagnosis previously. But my memory of working with Bruce is how friendly he was and really, really talented at his role. He’s definitely a professional. He’s going out as a legend with a beautiful career behind him… I have been privileged to work with him numerous times in the last couple years. It was a gift to be able to get to know him as a person and see how authentically kind he is in real-life. The narrative about him right now should be about the amazing career he’s had.”
