Fans of Gina Carano won’t have to wait too long to see her back on screen for her next big role. Carano, who famously played Cara Dune on The Mandalorian before exiting the series amid social media controversy, stars in the lead role of the new western film Terror on the Prairie. The movie will premiere exclusively for The Daily Wire members on June 14, 2022.
In Terror on the Prairie, Carano plays a frontier woman on the Montana plains who must protect herself against a ruthless gang of outlaws hell-bent on revenge. It is directed by Michael Polish (Northfork, Twin Falls Idaho) and written by Josiah Nelson.. Starring alongside Carano are Nick Searcy, Cowboy Cerrone, Tyler Fischer, Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, Heath Freeman, Samaire Armstrong, Travis Mills, Matthias Hues, Rhys Becker, Izzy Marshall, Jeremy Gauna, and Thomas White Eagle.

In addition to starring in the film, Carano also served as an executive producer alongside Daily Wire co-founders Jeremy Boreing, Ben Shapiro, and Caleb Robinson. Nicolas Chartier and Jonathan Deckter of Voltage also executive produced with Travis Mills and Danielle Cox. Dallas Sonnier and Amanda Presmyk produced via Bonfire Legend.

Gina Carano Is Back in Action in Terror on the Prairie
When Lucasfilm opted not to do any more business with Carano, effectively shutting her out of future seasons of The Mandalorian, it was perceived that Carano had been “canceled.” The Daily Wire was quick to provide a soft spot for Carano to land after her fall from the series by immediately collaborating with her on multiple film projects. Terror on the Prairie was not originally intended to be the first movie of Carano’s released as a part of the partnership, but the first announced movie, the thriller White Knuckle, wound up getting delayed.
“I’m completely ignited to be creating this thriller with The Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend,” Gina said of White Knuckle when the film was announced. “I feel I am exactly where I want and need to be at this moment in my life; it feels as if I have wings.”
Another project Carano has up her sleeves is the unauthorized Hunter Biden movie My Son Hunter. The film, directed by Robert Davi, follows the son of president of the United States, Joe Biden, and chronicles his allegedly scandalous behavior. Carano plays a “world-weary secret service agent” in the film. John James plays Joe Biden while Laurence Fox stars as Hunter. There’s no more Cara Dune for Carano but she is clearly keeping herself busy.
