It also came out on top in the Best Game, Best Music and Best Narrative categories, with Andrew Wincott picking up an award in the Supporting Role category for his portrayal of antagonist Rapheal.

In an acceptance speech, Wincott called the character “the devil we love to hate, or hate to love” and called the role a “gift”.

“It’s been really humbling how inspired fans have been by this game. Please, keep being creative. Keep creating these worlds and maybe one day we’ll learn to protect the one we’re in,” he added.

Elsewhere in the ceremony, Alan Wake 2 won two BAFTAs for Artistic Achievement and Audio Achievement while Super Mario Bros. Wonder picked up trophies in the Best Family and Best Multiplayer categories.
