Isle Of Wight Festival 2025: Here’s the weather forecast

With gates opening for Isle Of Wight Festival later this week – check out the latest weather forecast for this year’s event below.

Justin Timberlake, Sting and Stereophonics will be headlining the four-day festival, which kicks off on Thursday (June 19) and wraps up on Sunday (June 22). Elsewhere on the 2025 line-up are Razorlight, English Teacher, Yard Act, Midge Ure, Pale Waves, Twin Atlantic, Alessi Rose, Amble and Nieve Ella.

If you’re heading to the festival, you’ll also be able to catch Arthur Hill, Mae Muller, Matilda Mann, The Lilacs, Rhythm Of The 90s, Emmanuel Kelly and the UK’s Eurovision 2025 entry Remember Monday.

As revealed in the first announcement of acts, Faithless, Example, The Script, Clean Bandit, James, Paul Heaton, Olly Murs, The Lottery Winners, The Lathums, Alison Moyet and Dean Lewis will also be playing.

More acts were added in November, including Jess Glynne, Supergrass – playing their debut album ‘I Should Coco’ in full – Busted, The Corrs, Amy MacDonald, Ella Eyre, and indie bands Lightning Seeds and The Pigeon Detectives.

The BBC weather forecast for Isle of Wight Festival 2025 is:

Thursday June 19
Predicted to be sunny throughout the day, with a moderate breeze, highs of 22ºC and lows of 14ºC. Expect a clear evening between 20ºC-16ºC.

Friday June 20
The good weather continues with sun forecast and highs of 21ºC and lows of 16ºC. A warm and clear evening is forecast around 21ºC-17ºC.

Saturday June 21
Another day of warm sun with a gentle breeze, reaching highs of 23ºC and lows of 15ºC. The evening is also set to be warm, remaining between 22ºC-18ºC.

Sunday June 22
A closing hot day of warm sun with a gentle breeze, reaching highs of 23ºC and lows of 15ºC. A warm and clear evening is forecast around 21ºC-18ºC.

At the time of the first line-up drop, the festival’s promoter John Giddings said: “What a line-up we have in store already for the next edition of The Isle of Wight Festival. This first announcement spans global music icons to the freshest new talent and we have many more names to come so stay tuned.”

The festival also recently opened Experience 25 – a celebration of all 25 Isle Of Wight Festivals – featuring original events in 1968 through to 2024 with photos, video, memorabilia and art installations.

Back in 2019, NME awarded the Isle Of Wight festival four stars, naming Yungblud, Madness, Biffy Clyro and Lily Allen among the best performances of the weekend.

“There was rain, a tornado, acts who were forced to pull out last minute, and there were acts who literally pulled out last minute. None of it really mattered though – because the music trumped it all,” it read.
