Nick Cave is set to share a global stream of one of his shows in Europe last year.
Titled Wild God – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Live In Paris, the stream is set to show Cave’s full live show from his recently completed number of UK and European tour dates.
The footage was captured at the music icon’s show at the Accor Arena in the French Capital last November, and marked the final date of the band’s extensive European tour. The dates ran across the latter half of 2024, and saw Cave celebrate the release of his latest album ‘Wild God’.
It included a career-spanning set that included classics such as ‘The Weeping Song’ and ‘Red Right Hand’, as well as numerous tracks from the tracklist of the latest LP.
“With Cave’s electrifying stage presence and a powerful band featuring Warren Ellis, George Vjestica, Colin Greenwood, Jim Sclavunos, Carly Paradis and Larry Mullins, plus a four-piece gospel-inspired vocal section (Wendi Rose, T Jae Cole, Miça Townsend and Janet Ramus), Nick Cave led a high-intensity, emotionally charged performance in front of 20,000 fans,” reads a description.
It will be available to stream worldwide (barring North America) on April 7 via the ARTE Concert YouTube channel and ARTE.tv. North America can stream it from June 1.

While on the tour, Cave paid tribute to his late partner and bandmate Anita Lane. Speaking while on stage in Berlin, he described her as a “deeply inspiring character” and “a bright flame that all of us dark drug addicted characters would circle around.”
He also spoke out about the complimentary tweet from Bob Dylan, who attended one of the shows, and shared a moving response to a fan who told him that he left a show early after feeling “too emotional”. Taking to his website, The Red Hand Files, Cave wrote: “A live concert can feel overwhelming, even frightening, because its emotional power can suddenly bring our most buried experiences to the surface. But feelings are meant to be felt – that’s what they are for.”
‘Wild God’ was given a four-star review by NME upon its release last year. “Bad Seeds records are infamously loaded with gothic doom and gloom. Of course, this ain’t a poptastic LOLfest, and still coloured with the many shades of a life so challenging and weathered,” it read.
“But never has Cave been so freewheelin’ than on the giddy ‘Frogs’, ‘Jumping for love and the opening sky above’ as ‘Kris Kristofferson walks by kicking a can in a shirt he hasn’t washed for years’. With a lust for life, the once-dark prince is letting the light in.”
