An In-depth Interview with One of Europe’s Best Journalist, Micky Soler

Micky Soler is a talented, educated and rare. She is able to write with ease and captivate her readers. She transcends all generations with her ability to communicate on all levels. It is our privileged to bring you this in-depth with one of Europe’s Best Journalist, Micky Soler.

1. Tell us about yourself?

My name is Micaela Soler Astorga, but they know me as Micky Soler. I have been writing stories and poems since I was 7 years old. I am a journalist, I studied at the University of Seville, Spain. I have also done work in the field of literature (prose and poetry). Currently, I run my own magazine OriGinaL MagaZine; I am also a publicist for international film actors and directors. I love what I do.

  1. Tell us about the literary work (books, articles) that you write.

I have published poetry and stories in numerous literary magazines and in some anthologies with other authors. I have worked in newspapers, where journalism was focused on politics and social issues that affect citizens. Currently I am dedicated to cultural journalism, which is what I like the most… it allows me to meet numerous artists. It is truly exciting and enriching.

  1. What motivates you?

I am motivated by art in itself, the infinite capacity of our creativity, nature, human beings… Do you know what your passion is? My passion is writing, whether journalism or literature. I am passionate about telling stories, real or fictional. I also like to write poetry, when the soul requires it. As the American writer Carson MacCullers said: “Writing is not just how I earn my living, it is how I earn my soul.”

  1. Tell us about the people you represent, actors, etc.

I was lucky that my path crossed with the wonderful British film director Mark Denham, a man of great talent and a great friend. We began to work together. From there, I am lucky to be able to work with the wonderful Swedish actress and filmmaker Elin-Margareta Nordin, an exciting and multi-talented woman; the award-winning Gibraltar director and producer Martin Manuel Nuza, a great professional in the film sector; Hollywood actor Will Roberts, who has been cast in the great film of the year Oppenheimer…it has truly been an honor and Steven Ham, an absolutely incredible American voice actor. Soon, Mike Galindo, an American actor and producer, and also a great friend, will join. I have to say that most of them have numerous awards, they are very valuable and creative people. And most importantly, they are great, admirable people, with a noble heart.

  1. What future plans do you have for yourself and your original magazine?

For the magazine, continue growing and reaching more readers and countries, as well as continue publishing the best artists in the world. I have to say that we have already published interviews with celebrities from the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States. Therefore, we will continue in that line, with an increasingly defined and elegant design that provides glamor and color. Thanks to the magnificent work of our designer Felipe Muñoz, who is brilliant in everything he does. We have great collaborations with other media outlets such as Arica Televisión and Rgt Comunicaciones de Chile; the Dutch magazine A 3, the Spanish magazine Ventanas Abiertas Magazine, the North American magazine and television Hollywood Entertainment News, the Miss Stevie talk show (USA); the Don Vic show from the United States, William and the Magic Box from London, the British podcast Directed by Dean, British radio Love Da Beat and the Greek magazine Entertainment News. Currently we are going to start another collaboration with an Italian magazine. For me, I hope to continue working as before with the magazine, with new and interesting interviews and as a publicist, continue with my wonderful clients. I also have to say that we are waiting for the recording of the movie BEARS: The Awakening, where I am part of the cast. And I do not close the door to collaborating in other fields such as acting, literature, film production or music. Culture and art nourish the heart of the human being.
