Is this the night, Brewers fans?
The Milwaukee Brewers were three outs – three outs! – away from sweeping the Tampa Bay Rays and winning their first World Series championship.
Then Game 4 turned into a gut punch. Cooper Pratt’s solo home run in the top of the 12th gave Milwaukee a 3-2 lead, but Tampa Bay scored two runs in the bottom half to win, 4-3, and avoid elimination.

So we try this again.
The Brewers return to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, for Game 5 in the best-of-seven Series on Wednesday night, Oct. 28.
Jacob Misiorowski gets the start for Milwaukee. The presumptive National League Cy Young Award winner, Misiorowski hasn’t been at his dominant best but did win Game 1, allowing one run on four hits in five innings.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy may be looking for more than five innings from Misiorowski, if he’s effective, since the bullpen was heavily taxed in Game 4 and some relievers might not be available.
Tampa Bay has pitching questions of its own. Former Brewers pitcher Drew Rasmussen will make the Game 5 start on three days’ rest after throwing 89 pitches over 3⅔ innings, allowing three runs, in Game 2.

After Game 4, the Brewers talked about having a “flush-it” mentality. They’ll need it.
One win. That’s all that’s left.
